Focus of Law Practice: I have fourteen years' experience in all aspects of employment law, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in discrimination, wrongful discharge, business-related torts, employment contracts, wage disputes, and limited labor relations matters. I have conducted jury and bench trials in Washington and Kentucky, argued appeals in the Washington State Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Supreme Court and the Sixth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals.

I have handled numerous administrative claims involving violation of various laws against discrimination before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Washington Human Rights Commission, and Seattle Office for Human Rights, appeals to the Washington Department of Employment Security, claims of wage and hour violations by the Washington Department of Labor and Industries, and claims of discrimination, wrongful interrogation, and retaliation claims under the NLRA before the National Labor Relations Board.

I also have extensive experience in maritime personal injury claims and litigation, and asbestos/products liability litigation, primarily representing maritime vessel interests in state and federal courts.
