| Focus of Law Practice: |
Currently, I focus on appellate litigation. I have done a wide variety of commercial, admiralty and general litigation over the years, including substantial work on the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill case on behalf of seafood processor claimants, general commercial disputes involving contracts, fraud and misrepresentation, business organization, insurance coverage, consumer protection, arbitrations, noncompetition agreements, and shareholder agreements. I have also handled professional negligence and fee dispute matters involving physicians, attorneys, architects and engineers. At Reed, Longyear I worked on general, commercial, trust, estate and guardianship litigation. At Ferguson & Burdell I did environmental and construction litigation (including Government Contracts). I have experience with employment litigation, securities litigation, patent litigation, domestic relations (appellate only), admiralty/maritime litigation, education-schools issues, and personal injury matters. I have successfully mediated a real property dispute. |
