| ADR Experience: |
I have extensive experience as a mediator, arbitrator and counsel representing parties in mediation and arbitration. I have acted as CR 39.1 mediator on several hundred occasions. The peak year was 1991, when I held 44 mediation hearings. Currently, I do about two CR 39.1 mediations per month. Most of my cases are filed in the U.S. District Court and, thus, I attend on an average of ten to 12 CR 39.1 mediations each year as counsel for a party.
I have been selected a number of times to mediate cases for Washington Arbitration & Mediation Service and have acted as arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on several occasions. I have conducted an average of three to five mandatory arbitration (MAR) hearings per year for a number of years.
