Then ask local counsel to do the following:

  1. Complete both of these forms on your behalf. Then print them and scan them as two separate PDF files.
  1. File these PDF files in Western Washington's ECF system using the event Application for Leave to Appear Pro Hac Vice found in both the Civil and Criminal category, Other Documents. During the event, counsel will -
    • File the application as the main document and the ECF Registration form as an attachment;
    • Pay the required $150 fee online with a credit card.                                           (Revised per General Order on 3/21/08)

After the application has been checked for compliance with the local rules, it will be approved electonically. Both you and local counsel will receive an electronic notification of this approval. You also will receive a login and password for electronic filing via e-mail.
