Appeal Filing Fee

The appeal filing fee is $505, including docketing fee, and can be paid online through Pay.gov. if you are a CM/ECF registered user and file electronically. You will have the option of paying the filing fee with a credit card or bank account debit at the time of filing

The Clerk's Office also accepts payment by check or money order. Please see Paying Fees for more information.

Appealing In Forma Pauperis
You may apply for a waiver of the filing fee by submitting an Application to Proceed In Forma Pauperis.

If In Forma Pauperis has been granted in your case at the district court level, you do not need to file an Application for IFP at this time. The Ninth Circuit Court will review your financial status and determine if you continue to qualify.
