CM/ECF Upgrade FAQs

Who can I call if I'm experiencing problems with the new version of CM/ECF?

 

  • You can call the ECF Help Desk Monday through Friday at 206.370.8440 or 1.866.323.9293 from 8 AM to 5 PM.

 

Will the updated version of CM/ECF have any changes?

 

 

Will the update work on all Internet browsers?

 

  • No. The updated version of ECF will work on Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and Firefox version 2.0. Netscape browsers are no longer supported for CM/ECF use.

 

Will my ECF or PACER login work in the new updated version of CM/ECF?

 

  • Yes. You will be able to use both your existing CM/ECF and PACER login information.

 

Are other US District Courts upgrading their CM/ECF systems?

 

  • Yes. Eventually all of the district courts around the country will be on the new version of CM/ECF.
