The new version of CM/ECF contains new features that make your e-filing experience easier and faster. Some of the new features of the upgrade are highlighted below. In addition to the below, future ECF Newsletters will also include new "tips and tricks" of other new features in the upgraded version of CM/ECF.

•  Much like the Microsoft Windows Start Menu, there are new cascading menus which allow you to navigate from one CM/ECF menu item to another.

• When you add an attachment in addition to the main document, you now have to describe the attachment.

• Almost every screen with a case number look-up field has been modified to reduce the number of screen used when entering and selecting case numbers. 

• There are two new search features that allow you to do general searches for docket events or specific searches within a category of docket events. 

• There is a new full path and filename feature that is displayed on the Final Docket Text screen during docketing. This allows you to confirm that the proper documents have been uploaded before posting the document.
