Change Your ECF Login or Password

If you would like to specify a login or password, do the following:

  • Sign in to ECF using your current login and password.
  • Click on "Utilities" on the blue menu bar.
  • Select "Maintain Your Login and Password", OR

      

  • Select the option "Maintain Your Account" in the upper, left-hand corner.
  • At the bottom of the next screen, click "More User Information."
  • To change the password, highlight the row of asterisks (******) in the password field. Then type in the new password. OR highlight the login information in the login field and type in the new login.
  • Click on "Return to Account Screen."
  • At the bottom of the screen, click "Submit." When prompted, click "Submit" one more time.

Forgot your password?

  • Use "Forgotten Password" to receive a new password via e-mail.
    • Enter the attorney's ECF Login ID.
      • If you do not know the Login, contact ECF Support.
    • An e-mail will be sent to the primary e-mail address on the attorney's account. 
    • Click on the URL link in the e-mail.
    • Enter the Login ID again and simply enter a NEW password.
