Emergency Filings

• Emergency pleadings should be electronically filed.  The filer should then call the Clerk's Office at 206-370-8400 (Seattle), or 253-882-3800 (Tacoma) to advise the court of the emergency nature of the filing.

• Pro se filers not authorized to file electronically should bring their emergency filings to the Clerk's Office during business hours.

• If the nature of the emergency requires immediate judicial action outside of normal business hours, call 206-370-8483 with the case number, nature of emergency, document number, and contact information.  You will be contacted once the emergency filing has been reviewed.
