• The United States Courts Library in Seattle is soliciting bids from independent contractors to perform loose-leave and microfiche filing.  Bid packets are available by clicking here. (2/10/12)

• Beginning on February 2, 2012 a Federal Bar Association sponsored Federal Civil Rights Legal Clinic will be held at the Seattle Courthouse on alternate Thursdays from 12:00 noon-2:00 p.m.  Please see the attached flyer for contact information and further details about the Legal Clinic. (2/2/12)

• The Clerk's Office has established an e-mail address: questions@wawd.uscourts.gov, for pro se parties to submit prefiling questions about forms, fees and filing procedures.  Please note that the Clerk's Office will not accept documents for filing at this e-mail address. (2/8/12)

• We have updated our Application for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis (IFP) forms.  If you are filing an IFP Application, please use the updated forms available on our forms page. (12/14/11)

• A number of changes to the District Court Miscellaneous Fee Schedule go into effect on November 1, 2011.  The Fee Schedule for the Western District of Washington has been updated.  Please note that per Amended General Order 05-11, the Attorney Admission fee is now $226.00. (10/24/11)

• An increase in the electronic public access (EPA) fee, from $.08 to $.10 per page, will take effect on April 1, 2012.  Please visit the PACER website for more information.
