Conditional Admissions

Eligibility
Each applicant must be an attorney who is a member in good standing of the bar of any state and who is employed by the United States, or one of its agencies in a professional capacity. Admission is conditional for as long as the attorney is employed as an attorney for the United States.

 

Procedure for Admission
To apply, please review the Conditional Admission guide and complete the Conditional Admission Application (PDF) and submit it to the Clerk's Office via PACER.gov per the instructions.

 

Basic Requirements (Local Rules)
Applicants must:

  • Be employed as an attorney for the United States;
  • Obtain a signature from an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington, verifying employment of applicant’s governmental agency; and
  • Copy of self-administered Oath of Attorney (signed and dated by the Petitioner as an Officer of the Court).

 

Notification of Admission
