Focus of Practice
I am retired from private practice as of 12\31\13. While in private practice I was a civil litigator and part-time arbitrator and mediator.
I was an associate and then partner in Alexander & Associates from 1984-2001 then sole owner of Alexander & Bierman and then Bierman Law Firm from 2001 to 2013. I handled and tried plaintiff and defense cases in personal injury, product liability, construction defect, wrongful death, contract, commercial, employment, and property disputes of all types.

I have personally mediated 500+ cases. In addition, I was an attorney representing a party in hundreds of mediations over a 30 year legal career as well as being an MAR arbitrator for around 23 years in King and Snohomish Counties during which I arbitrated over at least 150 cases.
