The public lobby of the Tacoma courthouse, located in Union Station at 1717 Pacific Avenue, is open weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The building is closed on federal holidays. Official government issued photo I.D. is required for entry. No food or liquids are allowed through security. Exceptions to food/liquid restrictions: Visitors with a Jury Summons, seated members of an active Jury, grand jurors, and law enforcement officers.

Per the District's Facility Security Committees, certain items are prohibited in the Tacoma Courthouse.  Please review the Prohibited Items Policy and List before visiting the courthouse.

Clerk's Office hours
The counter is open weekdays from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Staff are available by phone weekdays from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
