Upon retirement from the King County Superior Court in 2019, I have served as an arbitrator, mediator, and discovery master on a regular basis. Subject matters have included business litigation, condemnation, land use, admiralty, employment, personal injury, healthcare, and dissolution of marriage. I also serve as a AAA panelist. As Chief Judge of the Civil division of King County Superior Court I oversaw the management of the Mandatory Arbitration Program of the court. I served as a volunteer settlement conference judge for litigated cases throughout my tenure on the bench.
