Externs

Judge Coughenour’s next-available extern positions begin fall of 2024. The positions are full time and generally in person. Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and writing sample (not to exceed 10 pages). All items should be contained in a single PDF and e-mailed to Judge Coughenour’s career clerk at Richard_Lintermans@wawd.uscourts.gov. Candidates must be legally eligible to be employed by the Judiciary to be considered (even though the position is unpaid).
